Within the framework of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Beni Suef University’s keenness to support professional development and develop the skills of its academic staff, and to enhance their keeping up with the latest technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, a number of faculty members and supporting staff participated in a specialized training course provided by the international company NVIDIA in cooperation with the Information Technology Institute (ITI) of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
This participation takes place under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sayed Qayed, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Mohamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The event was held at the Smart Technology Village in New Beni Suef and comprised eight hours of intensive training. Upon completion, participating faculty members and assistant staff successfully passed the course assessment and received accredited certificates—a testament to the College’s commitment to investing in the development of its academic personnel and enhancing their scientific and technical proficiency.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Sayed Qayed, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the participation of faculty members in such advanced programs aligns with the Faculty’s vision of enhancing human capital. He noted that the transfer of "deep learning" skills and modern technologies directly impacts the quality of the educational process and elevates research outputs.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Mohamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, noted that organizing and overseeing these events—in collaboration with leading entities such as NVIDIA and the ITI at the Technology Village in New Beni Suef—constitutes a key element in strengthening training partnerships and localizing advanced digital knowledge among the faculty's students.
