About the Department
The Department of Information Systems teaches the fundamentals of information systems, their analysis, design, and applications, both current and advanced. It also teaches office automation, various types of database systems, data mining and knowledge discovery, and information center management. The Department of Information Systems serves as a bridge between computer science majors and various fields of work, helping students acquire the knowledge and skills to analyze and design information systems in any governmental or private business organization or institution.
